IJ-Hallen is not only the biggest flea market in Amsterdam, it is also the largest flea market in all of EUROPE!
Held typically the first Saturday and Sunday of every month, in a warehouse, on the north side of the River IJ. The selection is amazing, and so is the ride to get there!
A free ferry from Central Station takes you across the river in about 10 minutes, where the flea market is a five-minute walk from the dock. Inside you’ll find a huge selection of flea market fare from 500 vendors, including old books, vintage clothes, leather goods, and antiques.
It is the perfect place to find a one-of-a-kind souvenir for just a little money, plus you have a great story on how you got there!

Getting there:
Take the free ferry from Centraal Station – Behind Centraal Station are four free ferry docks leading across the river. To get to IJ-Hallen, take the ferry toward ferry back towards 906 NDSM shipyard. The ferry stops a few minute’s walk from the market.
