Amsterdam hosts to the Cannabis Cup every year during the week of Thanksgiving. The Cannabis Cup is organized by High Times magazine, and offers natives and tourists alike a chance to enjoy consuming and judging marijuana.

The 26th Cannabis Cup will be in 2013, held from the 24th to 28th of November.

Participants pay $199 in advance or $250 at the door for a “judges pass”, which allows entry to the event for all 5 days, as well as admission to concerts and seminars held during the event, as well as the ability to vote on numerous awards that are handed out.  Day passes are available for €30 for each day, and some concerts sell tickets at the door provided they are not already sold out.
