If you’re looking for a really good burger in Amsterdam, Burgermeester is the first and only stop you need to make. With three locations throughout the city, they offer a take on an American burger diner with a distinctive Dutch flair. Although the Master Beefburger (with grilled vegetables and tarragon mayo) is king, they also offer lamb, chicken, salmon and vegetarian options.
Each month, one lucky patron has their burger suggestion chosen and added to the menu as well, and, unlike McDonald’s, Burgermeester’s menu in Amsterdam actually does offer up a Royale with Cheese – as well as truffle egg and pancetta. (Burgers range from €6,50-8,50, with mini options available as well).
